The Wanderreitkarte is a website for planning trips based on OpenStreetMap maps. Not only can routes be planned, but the respective elevation gains can also be displayed. With the Wanderreitkarte, trips can be planned on the PC without needing to have software like Garmin Basecamp or similar installed on the PC.
Since I had been looking for a lightweight, inconspicuous tarp for a long time but had found nothing in the size 3 m × 1.5 m, I decided to sew my own.

A double-wall tent consists of a water-permeable inner wall and a waterproof outer shell.
A single-wall tent consists only of a waterproof outer shell. This saves weight.
Shelter is the most important thing for staying protected from wind and rain at night. The most common form of shelter on the trail is the tent.
The XLite is Therm-A-Rest's all-round three-season pad, impressing with good insulation at a low weight & packed size.
