Here is what I had along for the 8-day trip in the Fulufjället National Park. Night temperatures were around 3°C.
After months of planning we finally set off for Sweden,
we wanted to spend eight days touring through the Fulufjället National Park.
Since I keep hearing that UL gear is sooo expensive, I want to start a project here that makes a complete UL setup possible for 300€ and temperatures down to about 0°C.
There was a time when two forum members of the BCD were looking forward to a shared weekend to go on tour together.
After wanderlust had been gnawing at me for the last few months, I thought about how I could put a bit of a leash on the whole thing.
Here is what I had along for the good 50km hike in the Harz. Temperatures at night -7°C.
What a tour! Sheer chaos between relaxation, desperation from lack of water and good weather.
After I got hold of some 0.3 mm thick aluminum, I built a lid for my 400 ml Evernew EBY265 cup.
Esbit stoves are mainly used by the German armed forces. In ultralight trekking, there are some who rely on this type of stove.
