Single-Wall Tents

A single-wall tent consists only of a waterproof outer shell. This saves weight.

To prevent the water vapor exhaled by the body from condensing on this outer shell, proper ventilation of the tent is important. Single-wall tents therefore usually have a well thought-out ventilation system and weigh around one kilogram.
