Cumulus Teneqa 850

Winter is coming! What a fitting season to write about my winter sleeping bag. For two winters now, my loft monster, a Cumulus Teneqa 850, has been accompanying me. For a proper winter sleeping bag, it weighs surprisingly little at just 1286g and has reliably kept me warm down to the mid-teens in minus degrees so far.

Sleeping Bags

Sleeping bags serve to insulate you at night. This insulation is created by trapping the smallest air pockets in the material. Here I will present some sleeping bags that accompany me on my trips.

Nomadic Trekker Ultra 004

The Nomadic Trekker Ultra is an ultralight wood gasifier. Like the Solo Stove, its design is borrowed from the ALB Forming Bush Buddy. Compared to the Solo Stove, however, there are a few differences. The Nomadic Trekker Ultra uses much thinner material and is therefore a good deal lighter.

So that you don’t run out of juice on the go there are various ways and means to charge your smartphone, GPS or similar devices while out and about.

In the following I will explain the advantages and disadvantages of various methods for charging devices on the go.
