Here are a few packing lists with the gear I took along on my trips.

2018-03 Packing List: Madeira

Since I have been asked several times what gear I had along on Madeira this year, I am publishing my packing list here. Night temperatures were between -2°C and 18°C.

2016-03 Packing List: Hildesheim-Harz-Weg

Here is what I had along for the three-day hike on the Hildesheim-Harz-Weg. Night temperatures were -2°C.

2016-03 Packing List: Hermannsweg

Here is what I will have along on the week-long hike on the Hermannsweg. Night temperatures are expected to be around 5 degrees Celsius.

2016-09 Packing List: Habichtswaldsteig

This is the gear I had along on the hike on the Habichtswaldsteig (Part 1). Night temperatures were around 10°C and went up to a good 26°C during the day.

Here is what I had along for the three-day hike on the Hexenstieg. Night temperatures were around 5°C.

2016-01 Minimal Summer Packing List

Here is an XUL (Extreme Ultralight) packing list; many comfortable pieces of gear are skipped in favour of weight. Still, this list works for weekend trips down to a minimum temperature of 5°C.

2015-07 Packing List: Sweden & Norway

Here is what I had along for the 8-day trip in the Fulufjället National Park. Night temperatures were around 3°C.

Since I keep hearing that UL gear is sooo expensive, I want to start a project here that makes a complete UL setup possible for 300€ and temperatures down to about 0°C.
