Here you can find some reports from my hiking trips.
Bimbi and I were out and about in beautiful southern Sweden, more precisely in Skåne.
Off to my adopted home Sweden - how I have missed you!
Since the dear Mr. Swede lived practically right on the route between my home and the starting point, we parked the car there and spent another lovely evening together.
Since on my tour on the Hexenstieg I had to skip the Bode valley, I wanted to walk this stretch once more. I couldn’t ignore the rave reviews of the hiking couple I had walked with as far as Königshütte.
It was that time again - Bimbi had invited a small circle of friends on a tour to the Palatinate. Unfortunately, three highly valued forum members had to cancel due to illness. So once again Geri got the chance to move up.
The group harmonized very well in this new line-up too. But enough of the prologue - off to the adventure!
After I had already had insane "luck" with the weather on Madeira, all that was left for me was to look forward to the next tour.
A quick look at the weather forecast for the Harz for the coming days unfortunately showed nothing pleasant. Rain, sleet and a little sun in between. The temperatures were expected to settle between seven and minus three degrees Celsius.
So, now Bimbi and I are on our way home again. We spent the last few days on the beautiful island of Madeira. Who could have guessed that somehow pretty much everything planned would go down the drain. But one thing at a time.
At the weekend I was out and about in the beautiful Odenwald with my better half and an acquaintance.
We had a really nice tour of shorter length. The perfect starting point for the battered hoof!
After seemingly endless weeks, it was finally time to get going again. This time I set off on a winter tour with three acquaintances in the beautiful little Harz town of Schierke.
For me too, this weekend it was time to get out into nature once again.
A wise man once said: whoever goes out into nature alone gets to know himself.
After months of planning we finally set off for Sweden,
we wanted to spend eight days touring through the Fulufjället National Park.
