2015-09 Short Bunker Tour Gdansk
Today I'm finally back in Germany, returning from a short trip to Poland.
Sun, beach, bunker complexes, met some dearly beloved crazies again and had a great time.
I had to realise that bicycle tyres can also be used to reinforce paths.
After all, the ground was very sandy and probably shouldn't be washed away at the first downpour.
Though this sea of sand and coniferous forest also has something beautiful about it.
Nature was also on the ball, and I first shook a hornet out of my Buff.
I'm still immensely glad she didn't sting me in the throat in the process.
There were also special beers that one of those present brews himself.
And we slept in/at and on a bunker complex
All in all a beautiful and very special trip,
travelling on holiday with only hand luggage for the first time is something special,
but it's bearable thanks to the small packed size and lots of improvisation.
In hindsight, taking along a tarp and chopsticks as stakes wasn't so bad after all, because it was simply too warm in the bunker at night and it got too snug under the quilt.
So out we went, set up the tarp and continued sleeping, nicely tempered.
