Pizza is one of the most popular and oldest fast food dishes. Fast food dishes have a very high energy density and are therefore well suited for the trail. Since my cravings on longer trips fluctuate between fast food and bell peppers, this recipe is ideal.
Ingredients
For the dough
50g flour
Pinch of salt
1 tsp baking powder
30ml water
1/2 tsp sugar
For the sauce
some tomato paste
1/2 tsp sugar
20ml water
Pinch of stock
Pinch of Herbes de Provence
Topping
As desired

Required Utensils
Steam or dry baking suitable cook set
Cooking Instructions
The preparation differs slightly depending on the desired style.
For the Italian version, combine the dough ingredients and knead well. Kneading makes the dough sticky and nicely uniform. Now spread the dough evenly over the bottom of the inner pot.
For the version with an American pizza base, the dough ingredients are also combined. However, 20ml more water is needed. Now stir the batter smooth with a spoon and the American base is ready.
Once the pot is lined with dough, you can start on the sauce. To do this, mix together the ingredients needed for the sauce and spread them over the dough. Then the topping of your choice can be spread on the sauce and sprinkled with cheese.
Now the lid must be placed over the outer pot and the baking process can begin.
The baking process takes about 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the preparation method (steam/dry baking).
Enjoy your meal!
Tips
Better to use too little salt; with these small quantities, the dough is very quickly over-salted and thus inedible :(
The pizza can be refined with additional ingredients as desired. If you want to prepare the pizza with salami or ham, use less salt! It is a real shame when such a delicious dish becomes inedible due to too much salt.
For steam baking, first work with a high flame until the water boils and then reduce the flame significantly.
