Ultralight Hike
For meetups and comfortable camping I treated myself to a reasonably light chair, the Helinox Chair One. This chair weighs ~875g and has a pleasant packed size of about 4.2 litres. Unfortunately, I have experienced the weak points of the original product several times, which the 54g Heli-Nix anti-sinking band fixes.
Because the person's weight is only distributed over four small feet. Sinking into soft ground is thus almost inevitable.
Over the course of the last year I lost three of the four slip-on feet irretrievably in the mud. Sinking in with the bare chair legs without the feet unfortunately happens even faster.
After some analysis with Bernd Korell, the owner of the workshop Gürtel-Extreme.com, I sent him the dimensions of the legs. He was thus able to sew me a stable band that distributes the person's weight over the entire band surface.
Shortly afterwards I received a small parcel with the Heli-Nix anti-sinking band.

This finally makes it possible for me to use the chair even on soft ground!
