Ultralight Hike
The Picogrill 85 is a folding hobo stove with very low weight, a large burn chamber and high stability. The hobo itself weighs just 85 grams. In the complete package with the carrying pouch and the bracket for more stability, the stove's total weight is 120g with a flat pack size.
The stove consists of a piece of metal and a bracket. The first time you fire it up, the bracket must stay on the stove so it cannot warp. For subsequent cooking sessions this is not strictly necessary. The stove has a very large burn chamber and therefore produces very little smoke in use. Unlike the hobo stoves presented here so far, the Solostove and Trekker Stove, this stove has no bottom plate protecting the ground from glowing material. That is why I always use the hobo on a piece of aluminium foil folded several times. Thanks to its design the stove is very load-bearing, and even 5kg pots don't bother it. Still, you should consider whether a larger stove wouldn't make more sense.
Another drawback of this stove is that smaller vessels sit unsteadily. To fix this drawback, I bent a piece of stainless steel welding wire into a U shape, which I place on the stove while cooking. I then put the pot on this U. This gives the pot a secure footing at a justifiable extra weight of 10g.

At just over €55 the stove is affordable, and the flaws can be fixed yourself with simple means.
