Ultralight Hike

So far, I have used the Spiderpod in the following setups:
Standing
In this configuration, two legs hold the smartphone on the left, two on the right and two on the bottom edge. The remaining two legs are bent backwards to set the smartphone up.
Hanging
This configuration is similar to the standing one; the only difference involves two of the eight legs. The two legs that are bent backwards in the standing variant are bent upwards into a hook shape. Because these hooks keep their shape, the tripod can now be hung up using them.
Plugged in
Starting from the standing configuration, the two legs that are bent backwards are bent backwards at a right angle. These legs can, for example, be inserted between the slats of a car’s air vent. This way, with a suitable app such as Maps.ME or Google Maps, the smartphone can even be used as a navigation device on the road.
Despite this flexibility, at just 14 grams the tripod is a real lightweight. On this year’s vacation in Mallorca it proved itself so well that it will accompany me on further trips and vacations.
