Big Christmas Raffle for Laufbursche

The last raffle for Mateusz by Bimbi and Schwyzi has just started. To lend the two a hand, I am sharing it here on my blog. Once again, there are many attractive prizes on the topic of the outdoors to be won!

Here are the details of the raffle:

Dear woodland wanderers,

In the last three quarters of a year, we managed to collect an incredible amount of in-kind donations with the combined strength of the outdoor scene. Several times a week, Bimbi and Schwyzi received mail and the two’s tree houses kept filling up. Living rooms are overrated anyway – unnecessary space that you can sensibly use for storing in-kind donations, boxes and packing material ;-)

Life does not stand still, ours neither. That is why it is time to close this chapter of the donation story. We would like to do that – in consultation with Laufbursche – with a bombastic Christmas raffle. We have an incredible number of prizes and hope you feel like buying a few tickets one last time to do something good. Who knows? Christmas is coming soon, maybe you can tuck a little something into a loved one’s boot or put it under the tree for yourself.

The rules are as usual: one ticket costs €5. Buying several tickets is possible and increases your chances of winning. If you would like to buy a ticket, the money goes directly to Laufbursche. Please transfer the corresponding amount or send the money via PayPal.

As proof of your donation, we ask you to send a screenshot of the completed transaction by email to: outdoor_rheinneckar@yahoo.com to send. Participation is only possible via this route. Please state in the email where we can categorize you (which forum, which nickname, which platform, group or whatever). We also ask you to send questions about the campaign exclusively to this email address!

Ticket sales start on the 1st Advent (27.11.16) and end on Saturday, 10.12.16 at 11:59 pm. All screenshots should have arrived by then. The draw takes place on the 3rd Advent (11.12.16).

1st prize A used Sony WX200 camera, a great camera for on the go! The little cam comes in pocket format but does not skimp on functions. 10x zoom, fast response time and great image quality convince alongside its small size and weight. Included are three original batteries and a charging station that can be charged with a simple micro-USB cable. There is also a brand-new Opinel No.8!

2nd prize A brand-new Nomadic Trekker Ultra 004! At just 142g, this wood gasifier is a real lightweight and highly effective at that. More info on the dimensions can be found here. There is also a brand-new Opinel No. 08!

3rd prize You will get a new partner bivy for shared hours under the starry sky! The Salewa PTX bivy sack for two people weighs a comparatively light 790g and is waterproof thanks to its taped seams. There is also a brand-new Opinel No.8!

4th prize The used Exped SimLite 2.5 in M weighs 640g and has an R-value of 2.1. There is also a brand-new Opinel No. 08!


5th prize Here you will get a Tatonka Alcohol Burning Set including the Tatonka Flame Adjuster and stuff sack. The stove set impresses with its small pack size. Included are an alcohol stove, a folding aluminum windscreen and a cup with lid and foldable handle. More info on this stove set can be found here. There is also a new spork and a brand-new Opinel No.8! The kitchen does not have to stay cold!

6th prize A pricey Toaks Titan Pot 1600 at around 200g. This makes big cooking outdoors fun! The pot has a handle and can be hung over the fire. Included is a small plastic cup and a brand-new Opinel No.8!

7th prize You will get a brand-new Mora Eldris, which Morakniv brought to market this year and which makes a sensational carving knife! There is also a folding shovel for the latrine dig included ;-) An Airborne patch comes with it.

8th prize An ultralight MYOG tarp (370g with stuff sack) from a user of the ULTF together with color-matching line tensioners! There is also the Liberty 120 headlamp from LiteExpress.

9th prize Here you will get everything you need for a day in the rain! The like-new Trekmates poncho is waterproof and weighs under 200g with its stuff sack – and it has a sensational pack size! There is also a hat from Decathlon (Oxylane) and a like-new Deuter Raincover III for packs of 45-90l including stuff sack. Let the rain come!

10th prize Here you will find a like-new Mountain Equipment ultralite bivy. The bivy is wind- and waterproof, UV-resistant and very tear-resistant. Great pack size and low weight (about 100g) make the bivy a perfect companion on the go. There is also a brand-new Opinel No. 08!

11th prize The prize includes a used Miltec storm stove that is fueled with solid fuel a la Esbit. There is also a kidney cup and a new spork. The cook set is also rounded out by a brand-new Opinel No. 8!

12th prize Of course, there is also a knife in the raffle again :-) The Ganzo G729 in olive (G10) has an Axis lock and comes with 440C steel and a flat grind. There is also a sealed Scouting Sporknife and a flashlight. Together with the paracord bracelet, you have got a small and practical set!

13th prize Here you will find a clothing package (used) consisting of: camouflage pants (the waistband says M/S and KB10, waistband width 50cm, leg length from waistband 107cm), Teva Terra-Fi3 sandals in size 43, a punched leather belt in sand, a set from Naturebase and a paracord bracelet.

14th prize A brand-new Ridgeline Neketai (similar to a Buff) in Buffalo Camo together with a brand-new Savotta knife with sheath. There is also a headlamp.

15th prize The prize includes a first-aid kit that can be supplemented as needed. There is also a brand-new AzBlaster for proper body hygiene on the go.

Globetrotter , by the way, provided us with several No. 8 Opinels, some of which are now included in the raffle.

Of course, it is not out of the question that, in the future, a sale/auction for Laufbursche will take place on various platforms every now and then on a small scale. That is where you all come in, and we really hope the topic does not fall into oblivion!
